Melbourne Victory veteran striker Archie Thompson is set to return for Saturday night's derby against Melbourne City.
Thompson has missed most of the season thus far after injuring his knee earlier in the season against Adelaide in the FFA Cup.
He sent a minor scare through the Victory camp earlier in the week when he left the training ground limping with the same knee but has been given the all clear to return against the arch rivals.
Victory has lost its last three games in a row, something they haven't done since 2009, recently falling to Perth Glory last night at the NIB Stadium, thanks to a Diego Castro 74th minute goal.
Coach Kevin Muscat says he isn't concerned with the club's form of late and is confident that the team can turn its own luck around.
