Besart Berisha will remain clad in navy blue for another two campaigns after Melbourne Victory extended the star striker's deal until the end of the 2017/18 A-League season.
Victory chairman Anthony Di Pietro made the announcement in front of 1000 people at the Victory in Business function on Wednesday.
"We remain in awe of Besart's passion, determinations and drive to succeed and these attributes significantly add to the positive and success-drive culture at our football club," he said.
Berisha is A-League's leading goalscorer since he moved to Australia.
The powerful forward has 63 goals for Brisbane Roar and Victory in five A-League campaigns to date, including three championship wins.
Coach Kevin Muscat lured the Albanian south prior to the 2014/15 season, where he powered Victory to a drought-breaking title.
He said the 30-year-old's contribution at the club extended well beyond his goal tally.
"The impact Bes has made on and off the pitch since he arrived at the club has been significant and we are thrilled and excited he has committed to continue his playing career at Victory," Muscat said,
With the challenge of securing a back-to-back title and an Asian Champions League campaign to come, Berisha said there was still plenty to achieve at Victory.
"The club enjoyed the ultimate success last season and I, along with all the coaches and players, feel there is so much more to achieve, so I am very excited to be at the club for two more seasons to do what I can to help the club win more trophies."
The A-League powerhouse club also announced a 10-year extension to its Etihad Stadium deal on Wednesday.
Victory will continue to play five matches a year at the Docklands venue until 2025, including any finals appearances.
"The stadium is critical to our long-term growth," Di Pietro said.
"We have had a 50 per cent increase in membership and attendances over the past four seasons, stretching our capacity at AAMI Park.
